Cool for the Summer!

The sun is coming back to beat down onto the concrete jungle of New York City, and while this does not warrant the abandonment of proper social distancing procedures, it does welcome some creative ways to enjoy the longer days and warm sunshine. While the YH team continues to stay calm, cool, and collected amongst the chaos of everyday life in quarantine, we decided we must also find ways to keep our bodies cool from the impending sunburn season. And what better way to keep cool, both physically and mentally, than with a refreshing summer cocktail and a playlist of songs perfect for a dance-party-of-one or a six-feet-apart soirée.

Our monthly newsletter circles around the theme of summer as a mindset, a summer that is as much about one’s mindset and approach towards the sunny season as it is about the higher temperatures. Everyday life remains in a purgatory between the reality we miss and the early months of COVID-19 chaos; however, as we all play our part to help the healthcare and essential workers and prevent the spread of this disease, any good news and happy read can help offset the uncertain world around us.

Enjoy the coming Summer, try out some of our sweet + satisfying recipes, and please stay safe!
