The Young Huh team has been flirting with the future and what lies ahead for ourselves, our friends, our industries, and life in general. As daunting as this endeavor seems to be at the moment, this year has given us a reality check and it’s not quite over yet. However, as our office encourages positivity and a wine-glass-half-full mentality, we want to lead with intention and manifest what opportunity might be lingering in 2021 and beyond.

To help frame our approach, we are pulling inspiration from the infamous question that comes with nervous interviews and holiday small talk with extended family: Where do you see yourself in five years?

As just about every sector of life uses 2020 as a reboot to evaluate how our systems-in-place operate, the world of interior design is under some construction of its own. Join us as we ponder what lies ahead and ask ourselves, “Where do we see our home in five years?”

A NEW FRONTIER: MENTAL CANVAS

Young partners with House Beautiful to speculate and decorate a digital dream kitchen that would make any eclectic collector swoon with delight. Taking inspiration from in-person samples and collaged moodboards, this kitchen lives somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd dimensions on Mental Canvas’ truly unique drawing program.
